My Gated Kick Expansion (Vol. 1) review

My heart is the closest to Hardcore. That’s where I feel most at home. I come from an era where it was all about the original 909 distorted kick (and different variants of it).

Nowadays I have grown to love the limitless combinations of “tocks” / “bass tails” / transient “thumps” that can be made.

Sometimes, however, a nice dark raw hard transient kick hit with a seemingly endless tail of reverby bass is all that’s needed for any track at a slower BPM.

Gated Kick Expansion (Vol. 1) is the pack I need for those occasional needs and I look forward to utilizing these kicks for future arrangements.
