My notes from this Short
The major and minor chords in the scale
The major scale always has the same intervals, which means that if I start that formula in another key, I always have the major key.
If I lay down the notes, the first, two, three, four, five, six, seven and one, each of these notes has a predefined chord. The 1, the 4 and the 5 will always be major, and the 2, the 3 and the 6 will always be minor.

The diminished chord leads into the next one
The final one will be diminished, which means that there are three spaces between each note. This is a very leading chord, which moves into the next one.
The cool thing is that you can now rearrange whatever notes you want and play a chord progression.
