My notes from this Short
LFO envelopes on volume and coarse pitch
I start with an LFO on envelope to control the volume of the punch. Then another LFO on envelope, a little bit pitchy, added to the coarse pitch. LFO 3 gets a bit more of a click, but it's not as pitchy afterwards.
One compressor on multiband, compressing upwards, dial that in and do it again. In front of that I add a hard clipper, and afterwards a soft clipper.
A funky LFO into the all-pass filter
In filter 1 I find a multi filter like the band pass notch and open the drive all the way. LFO 4 gets a shape that is a bit funky, added to the cutoff and to the frequency. Then I route filter 1 into filter 2.
Filter 2 gets the most important thing, the all-pass filter. Add drive, add resonance and take down the mix, and you get a very interesting spread out sound.

Render the punch and build the kick
I add an octave, take down the hard clipper and the volume, and use the exact same LFO I used for the volume. LFO 5 on envelope creates a transient on another volume slider. Then I add another distortion anywhere in the chain with an EQ in front of it, find the fundamental frequency and add that weird LFO to the frequency.
Take that punch sound, add your click, punchy bass, a crunch and your reverb, add some basic processing, and you can use it to create your final kicks. Go back in your preset, re-render it, and you can completely change your kick.
