How to Get More Distortion Out of Sylenth1

Most people add distortion in Sylenth1 and increase the amount, until they run out of distortion. If you control the volume in front of it, you control the distortion.

Push the level in front of the distortion

Say you make any patch, in this case a screech. Most people add distortion and increase the amount, and at that point it can be frustrating when you've run out of distortion. But I can influence how much distortion I get with the drive or the volume in front of the distortion.

You can change the volume of the oscillator, increase the mix of part A, or use the filter and the drive. If the low pass is filtering, open the cutoff so you get your full sound again, then just increase the drive. The pre-volume in front of the distortion influences the sound a lot, so if you control the volume, you control the distortion.
