Three Hardstyle Chord Types for Your Layers

There are three hardstyle chord types that you need in your layers to make them huge.

My notes from this Short

01

A basic saw with a fast LFO on the fine tune

The first one is a very basic saw type of chord. I add LFO 1, disable the BPM, set a high rate and add it to the fine tune.

02

A very detuned chord

The second one is a very detuned one. I add unison, and make sure that one of the oscillators is pitched up.

03

The main chord blends the two

Finally we have our main one, which is a blend between the two. The detune is down a little bit, oscillator B is pitched up, and LFO 1 goes on a high rate to the fine tune.

Then I add Chaos 1 to the coarse pitch, take down the output of the chaos and increase the rate of the chaos.
